]]> The deadline for registering to vote in the election is quickly approaching! We at The Dunes encourage all of our residents to register and to vote in the upcoming elections.

REGISTRATION: Kansas makes it easy for you and all eligible voters in your household to register, or to check or change your registration. Just go to https://www.ksvotes.org.  October 16th is the last date to register to vote in the November 6th election.

VOTING: YOU CAN VOTE ON ELECTION DAY OR EARLY. On election day, vote at the polling place where you are registered. If you are registered at your address at The Dunes you vote at Life Church at 9800 W. 135th Street. If you are registered somewhere else in Kansas go online to  https://www.ksvotes.org to find out where you vote. You can also obtain an absentee ballot or vote early at a number of different places. To find out more about voting by absentee ballot or voting in advance, go to https://jocoelection.org.

If you want information on candidates in the upcoming election, we refer you to www.mainstreamcoalition.org. Mainstream Coalition is a not-for-profit organization that vets candidates and endorses the best moderate candidates regardless of party affiliation. You can learn more about candidates for office in your district in this election.

The program allows current students to work with area businesses to assist with their creative needs. The artwork displayed throughout our clubhouse and model apartment was created specifically for our property by students at KCAI.  The students included in the program include:
